Mirror: Arabian Falcons prepare offer for free agent Sancho, Shelvey is head coach

According to the Mirror, Arabian Falcons are preparing an offer for free agent Sancho.

Arabian Falcons hope to convince the 26-year-old England winger to join the club. The team is coached by former England international Jonjo Shelvey, and their squad also includes Danny Simpson, who won the Premier League title with Leicester City in 2016 and now serves as both a player and coach, as well as Ravel Morrison, who was recently appointed captain.

Sancho became a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired in June. Before that, he was on loan at Aston Villa but was not retained by Villa. Arabian Falcons also hope to contact several other notable players who are currently free agents.

Manchester United signed Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for €85 million in 2021, but his career path in recent years has been quite eventful. In January 2024, he returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan and played in the Champions League final; the following season, he joined Chelsea and won the UEFA Conference League with the club.

After failing to complete a permanent transfer to Chelsea, Sancho was loaned to Aston Villa again, where he scored one goal and provided three assists in 39 appearances, while also winning the Europa League with the team. Fiorentina, Roma and Palmeiras had all been linked with him, but no deal was completed. Arabian Falcons hope to take this former England international to Dubai and give his career a new direction.
