Recently, 26-year-old Ferran Torres continued his trip in the United States, discussing his future and sending a clear message to FC Barcelona. In an interview with US professional sports media outlet Sportico, Ferran Torres said that any talks over a contract renewal would depend on Barcelona’s interest.
“Barcelona must prove that they want me. They can come and negotiate, and in the end everything will be discussed clearly,” Ferran said. He remains under contract with the Catalan club and appears calm about his situation.
The forward was also asked whether other European giants, including Paris Saint-Germain, were interested in signing him. He said that such rumors are always a good thing for a player. “As long as these teams want you, that is a good thing,” he said.
